Job Overview
The primary responsibility of the Team Lead is to attain team goals by leading continuous improvement process with team members and other necessary resources. Consistently acts and behaves in a manner that supports high performance team-based organization, effectively working to manage safety, quality, schedule, cost and culture
Essential Functions
· Drives continuous improvement process and initiatives to ensure CI of team metrics
· Responsible for the team metric board, its daily maintenance
· Maintains training matrix
· Performs production responsibilities in times of extreme need
· Understands and manages QATS requirements
· Able to use Computer and necessary software to fulfill above defined responsibilities
· Responsible for escalating any interruption to meet customer demand
·Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Two years’ manufacturing experience, one-year leadership experience preferred
Competencies
· Communication Proficiency
· Knowledge of the CI process and ability to utilize principles
· Solid problem-solving skills
· Ability to work as a contributing member within a team environment
· Ability to meet metrics through the management of members in a manner consistent with our values of dignity and respect
· Ability to build business acumen
Work Environment
This is a professional position with active involvement with manufacturing processes and presence within the facility.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
