Carpenters (Rough & Finish) – ACNY Developers
ACNY Developers is seeking skilled Rough and Finish Carpenters with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our team. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with mid- to high-end residential work, including cabinetry installation, kitchen installations, trim, and pocket door installations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform rough and finish carpentry work on mid- to high-end residential renovation projects
- Install kitchen cabinetry with precision, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and finish quality
- Install trim, millwork, and finish carpentry details to a high standard
- Install pocket doors and other specialty door systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and subcontractors to keep work on schedule
- Ensure all work meets quality standards expected on high-end residential projects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of carpentry experience, rough and finish
- Proven experience installing mid- to high-end cabinetry and kitchens
- Experience with trim work and pocket door installation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Own tools required
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team
Preferred:
- Experience working directly with discerning, detail-oriented homeowners
- Background in custom millwork installation
- OSHA training or certification
