Texas Therapy Specialists is looking for an experienced and dependable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Houston school-based position.
This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys speech therapy, evaluations, ARD/IEP meetings, collaboration, and supervising an SLPA without carrying a full direct-therapy caseload.

What You'll Do
The SLP will primarily be responsible for:
- Completing speech and language evaluations and reevaluations
- Writing evaluation reports and recommendations
- Participating in ARD/IEP meetings
- Developing and updating speech and language goals as needed
- Reviewing student progress and determining appropriate services
- Supervising and supporting the campus SLPA
- Reviewing therapy documentation and student data
- Consulting with teachers, parents, special education staff, and campus administrators
- Providing guidance to the SLPA regarding treatment strategies and student needs
- Completing required special education documentation
- Providing direct therapy or consultation when needed
What We're Looking For
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Experience completing speech-language evaluations and participating in ARD/IEP meetings
- Experience supervising SLPAs preferred
- Knowledge of special education procedures and school-based documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dependable, collaborative, and comfortable working independently
