Overview
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young children. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in the infant room.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing educational activities aligned with developmental milestones and curriculum standards.
- Support children during playtime, meals, nap times, and other daily routines to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies and communicate with parents.
- Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary, following established safety protocols.
- Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and caregiving best practices.
