Job Title: Order Fulfillment Specialist (Picker / Packer)

We are a premier Online Grocery Distributor specializing in natural and organic products. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our fast-paced warehouse team in Los Angeles. This role is central to our daily operations, ensuring that customer orders are picked accurately, packed securely, and shipped out on time.
Essential Responsibilities
Order Picking & Packing (Primary Focus)
- Efficiently and accurately pick dry, refrigerated, and frozen natural/organic products based on order pick-lists.
- Pack orders neatly and securely according to company standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare, insulate, and pack refrigerated/frozen shipments with proper coolant supplies.
- Inspect items during picking and packing for quality, damage, and accurate expiration dates.
Fulfillment Operations & Warehouse Support
- Ensure packing stations remain fully stocked with supplies (boxes, tape, insulation, and void fill).
- Assist with loading carrier trucks (e.g., UPS) with completed shipments.
- Assist with put-away tasks, inventory tracking via software, and maintaining station cleanliness (e.g., trash and cardboard disposal).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations, specifically in order picking, packing, or fulfillment.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail when reading SKUs, quantities, and packing lists.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and repeatedly lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Tech Savvy: Basic proficiency in inventory software, database systems, and Google Sheets.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license (driving a box truck may be required periodically).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Schedule & Pay
- Orientation Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Permanent Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
- Work Location: On-site (Los Angeles, CA) — No remote work
