Position Type: Part-Time (15–20 hours/week)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, tech-savvy Part-Time OTR Operations Manager to oversee our small fleet of 4 trucks. You will utilize our Motive ELD platform to monitor driver compliance, track assets, and manage daily operations. This flexible, remote role is ideal for a logistics professional who excels at independent fleet oversight and driver support.
Core Responsibilities:
- Motive Fleet Monitoring: Utilize the Motive dashboard daily to track live truck locations, monitor driver Hours of Service (HOS), and preemptively manage duty status violations.
- Driver Dispatch & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for 4 OTR drivers, and coordinate route schedules, and assist with shipper/receiver delays.
- Safety & Compliance: Review Motive safety scores, log events, and ensure all FMCSA compliance documents are up to date.
- Maintenance Tracking: Monitor vehicle diagnostic fault codes triggered in Motive and coordinate routine maintenance for the 4 trucks and trailers.
- Admin Support: Help collect fuel receipts and compile distance reports via Motive for quarterly IFTA filing.
Qualifications:
- Required: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience managing fleets within the Motive (formerly Keeptruckin) platform.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and HOS rules.
- Experience in OTR dispatching and logistics coordination.
- Reliable internet connection and smartphone for remote communication and on-call emergencies
