About Prodigy Promos
Prodigy Promos is a branded merchandise and apparel company that has been serving local and global customers since 2007. We design, manufacture, warehouse, and fulfill products for companies across a wide range of industries.
We are looking for an experienced Screen Printer to join our production team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands screen printing, takes pride in producing quality work, and can confidently operate professional automatic screen printing equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operate M&R automatic screen printing equipment
- Set up and run screen printing jobs according to production specifications
- Verify screens, inks, artwork, colors, registration, and print placement
- Inspect the first prints and make adjustments before running production
- Maintain consistent print quality throughout a production run
- Monitor ink, screens, squeegees, and other production supplies
- Troubleshoot registration, ink coverage, curing, and print-quality issues
- Work closely with Production, QC, and Pre-Press to keep jobs moving
- Follow established production and quality standards
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and production-ready
- Help maintain equipment and identify issues before they become production problems
Our Equipment
We run professional M&R equipment.
Experience with M&R equipment is a strong plus.
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate:
- Has previous professional screen printing experience
- Has experience operating an automatic screen printing press
- Can independently set up and run production jobs
- Understands screen registration, ink selection, squeegee pressure, flood settings, and print quality
- Can troubleshoot problems while a job is running
- Has strong attention to detail
- Understands the importance of quality and consistency
- Works well as part of a production team
- Is dependable and takes ownership of their work
- Learns quickly and is willing to continue developing their skills
Prior screen printing/apparel decoration experience is required.
M&R automatic press experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for sustained periods of time
- Must be able to repeatedly move product throughout the workday
- Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
