Join a High-Volume Recon Team – No Customer Pressure
Car World Group is hiring Auto Detailers (may help with Driver/Lot Porter Duties) for our busy, reconditioning center in Memphis. This is a production-focused role where you will detail vehicles for retail sale — not a slow dealership wash bay.

What You Will Do
- Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards
- Shampoo carpets, seats, and remove stains and odors
- Buff, polish, and apply wax or protective coatings
- Power wash vehicles, wheels, and engine compartments
- Perform cosmetic inspections before and after detailing
- Wet sand and correct paint imperfections when needed
- Apply dealership branding (stickers, plate frames, etc.)
- Move vehicles through the recon process and park when complete
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Identify and report mechanical or cosmetic issues to the team
What You Need
- Previous detailing experience preferred (automotive, dealership, or recon)
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work Saturdays
Preferred Skills
- Experience with buffers, polishers, and steamers
- Paint correction or wet sanding experience
- Familiarity with high-volume recon or dealership operations
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, bending, and movement throughout the day
- Ability to lift 20–50 pounds
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to operate vehicles safely in lot and shop environment
