Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. In this vital role, you will serve as a key partner in managing human capital processes, fostering a positive employee experience, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Your energetic approach will help shape our organizational culture, support talent development, and streamline HR operations to promote a thriving, engaged workforce. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence strategic HR functions while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily activities.
This position is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Duties
- Answering phones and greeting visitors
- Manage full-cycle talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through ATS platforms such as iCIMS, Taleo, or Workday, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding procedures like employee orientation and training programs
- Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims using systems like ADP, Paychex, or Paylocity; ensure accurate data entry and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Support performance management initiatives by coordinating employee evaluations, performance reviews, and succession planning efforts aligned with organizational goals
- Temporary Agency Management & Recruiting of Temps (work with Harry)
- Pre-employment and new hire paperwork: Create and manage employee file. Paperwork includes direct deposit, Certify, pre-employment drug screening, I-9, create name tags for their desk area and make sure that they’re desks are good to go and that manager is onboard.
- All communication with new hires

- Lead HR projects related to change management, organization design, and workforce management strategies to enhance overall human resources management.
- Maintain accurate HRIS data in systems such as Insperity; generate reports for strategic planning and compliance purposes.
- Ensure adherence to employment & labor law requirements by staying current with legal updates and implementing necessary policies related to FMLA, OSHA standards, and other regulations.
Skills
- MUST have worker's comp experience
- Extensive knowledge of human capital management practices and employment law compliance across diverse jurisdictions.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition strategies utilizing ATS tools like Indeed; skilled in sourcing top talent through social media management and HR sourcing techniques.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives such as training & development programs and organization design projects.
- Excellent Reporting Skills!
- Excellent communication skills for effective employee relations, conflict management, and delivering employee orientation sessions.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms including Insperity, reporting, and payroll administration using systems like ADP or Paychex.
- Ability to manage benefits administration processes efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal standards such as OSHA regulations.
- Experience in strategic planning for talent management initiatives like succession planning and affirmative action efforts.
- Organizational skills that enable effective data entry, contract management, and administrative support for HR functions. Pay: $50,215.00 - $55,000.38 per year

Work Location: In person
