Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- This position performs repairs , maintenance and troubleshooting of the entire paint system, paint line equipment, production machinery and facility equipment.
- Provides robot, paint equipment and paint line maintenance such as filter changes.
- Performs repairs activities including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and troubleshooting of production and facilities machines systems.
- Performs maintenance of equipment and facilities, including paint spraying equipment, paint jigs washers/blaster, plumbing and basic HVAC maintenance.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of paint equipment and other process production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Performs maintenance/repairs at a maximum efficiency and productivity to achieve department targets.
- Meets responsibilities and goals of the Maintenance department.
- Ensure that machinery and equipment are properly maintained, operating efficiently, and troubleshoots issues when needed.
- Ensures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
- Responsible for any project that the department is involved in. Cooperates with project personnel to achieve a common goal.
- Follows all ISO procedures and documentation.
- Supports and follows 5-S and complies with all applicable safety regulations, procedures and rules for this position and areas where the maintenance jobs are performed and maintains clean work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials up to 40 pounds consistently in a frequent basis.
- Required ability to stand, bend and walk for 8 hours.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical industrial skills with PLC and HVAC experience.
- Requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of production maintenance experience.
- Must be able to communicate technical subjects and problems to the Supervisor and Manager effectively.
