Job Summary
Nauru Tower, Honolulu’s iconic luxury residential condominium is looking for highly motivated, team-oriented, friendly, and dependable individuals to join our team as a Full-time Residential Specialist (Security). This position requires a strong security presence, exceptional situational awareness, and sound judgment, along with the ability to think critically and respond appropriately to a wide range of incidents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, an investigative mindset, and strong common sense while consistently delivering outstanding customer service and exemplifying the Aloha Spirit in all interactions.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Residential Specialist (Security) will perform general security duties to ensure a safe and secure environment throughout the property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to emergencies and incident situations promptly and professionally
- Monitoring security surveillance systems and performing routine patrols
- Enforcing and facilitating compliance with house rules and property policies
- Completing incident reports, citations, and shift logs accurately
- Providing special service assistance to residents as needed
- Maintaining a friendly, professional presence and excellent customer service at all times
Work schedule: Shifts may vary, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must possess a valid Guard Card, certified in accordance with HRS 463--10.5.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Must be friendly, service-oriented, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills while maintaining professionalism and authority.
- Ability to read, write and understand English, including the ability to write reports and logs.
- Prior experience in a hotel or condominium complex preferred.
- Computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- CPR / AED / First Aid certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must successfully pass a drug test and background check
