Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods for our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that items are handled with care and delivered safely to their destinations. Ideal candidates will possess strong driving skills and experience with various types of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of trucks including Box Trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers for transporting goods.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring the safety of all items being transported.
- Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment.
- Assist in the packing and unpacking of items as needed during moves.
- Utilize forklifts, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks when necessary to facilitate loading and unloading processes.
- Follow all safety protocols while driving and handling materials.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or Non-CDL with experience in truck driving.
- Previous delivery driver experience is preferred, particularly with Household goods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards during transport operations.
