About the role
Responsible for all planning activities related to Tier 1 shipments, customer contact, and EDI transactions.
- There 30-day probationary period for this role.
Responsibilities
- Pull daily/weekly inventory numbers
- Work closely with manufacturing plants
- Work closely with Customer representatives regarding mix changes and order changes
- Work closely with engineering team regarding new car lines and part numbers
- Works closely with Quality department regarding Quality issues
- Works closely with Dock coordinator regarding inbound shipments
- Works closely with inventory analyst and Logistics team
Trouble
Essential Skills
- College degree preferred.
- Two years related experience or equivalent education preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Excel knowledge is helpful with maintaining/updating Customer Order files.
- Automotive experience in customer service or its equivalent within a distribution environment.
