Job description
Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital is seeking compassionate and
skilled RN's and LPN's to deliver quality nursing care to medically
complex pediatric children. Under the supervision of our Director of
Nursing (D.O.N.), you'll help meet the medical, developmental, and
social needs of our patients in a facility-based setting.
Responsibilities
* Administer nursing procedures such as g-tube feeding, oxygen therapy,
and range of motion exercises according to patient care plans.
* Administer prescribed medications orally, intra- or subcutaneously,
and monitor for any adverse reactions.
* Record and maintain accurate daily treatment notes, nursing notes,
and medication logs
* Monitor patient activities and assist with personal care, including
bathing, oral hygiene, diapering, and dressing.
* Record and monitor vital signs, reporting any changes to the RN
supervisor.
* Assist with mobility, including repositioning, ambulating, and
wheelchair transfers
* Support rehabilitation activities focused on developing social and
daily living skills
* Assist patients during meals and provide feeding support as
necessary
* Accompany children during non-emergency and emergency
transportation as directed
* Transcribe and report physician orders accurately and efficiently
* Participate in emergency response and required in-service training
HOURS: 7pm-7am
Hourly rate: $30.00 to $37.00
Qualifications
* Education: Graduate of an accredited school for practical/registered
nursing
* Licensure: Current Virginia LPN/RN License
* Experience: 2+ years in pediatric nursing (preferred)
* Certification: BLS certification required
Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 48.0 per week
