Mountain Community Health Partnership is seeking a full time Registered Nurses (RN). The RN will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide nursing care to patients of MCHP under the direction/supervision of Director of Nursing, physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs) in accordance with the NC Nursing Practice Act. The RN is a member of a care team lead by the healthcare provider and serves as a liaison between the patient and the healthcare provider for establishing and maintaining quality patient care. The RN will assist in data collection including but limited to, chief complaint, allergies, medications, medical history, family history, social history, surgeries, immunizations, and vital signs. Update medical information in the patient chart in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) at each appointment, checking alerts and reminders to ensure all recommended elements of care are offered and performed for patient population management. Demonstrate accurate and efficiency in data collection using the EHR. Participates in identifying patient/family needs and developing plan of care in collaboration with physician, NP or PA. Performs delegated nursing functions using established policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of care. The RN must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing, provide a valid RN license in the state of North Carolina (BSN Preferred), and have a current BLS certification. One year experience in medical/surgical nursing or clinic setting preferred. EEOC Employer.
