Job Description:
We are Hiring Immediately for a Warehouse position!
All shipments must be verified the day of receipt.
Reports to
Operations Coordinator
Basic Functions
Responsible for putting away incoming raw materials. Staging jobs for production. andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Inventory control, including FIFO rotation of materials. End of month physical inventory counts. andnbsp;Warehouse maintenance andamp; cleanliness.
Warehouse Duties
- Handle incoming materials, maintain and organize warehouse space.
- Verify Packing Slip (PS) for accuracy and bring to the Shipping/Receiving Clerk daily for entry into the LabelTraxx (LT) system.
- Scan material into warehouse location in LT.
- Stage jobs for production.
- Check andamp; Correct roll tags for accuracy of returned footage to warehouse.
- Rotate Materials based on FIFO by utilizing aging reports and LT system.
- Perform end of month physical inventory count on raw materials.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Palletize outgoing material and finished goods inventory.
- Work overtime as needed.
Minor Duties
- Maintain a good working relationship with production and operations department.
- Attend monthly safety meetings and observe all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform daily forklift inspection and prepare OSHA required log.
Essential Abilities and Working Conditions
- High attention to details.
- Being able to work with a team.
- Have good communication skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, perform some heavy lifting, must be able to bend and stoop.
- Must have a valid forklift operator license.
- Safety shoes required
- Must be able to prioritize work to meet or exceed production goals.
