About the Role:
Kensington Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Manager to lead our memory care neighborhood and uphold our promise: To Love and Care for Your Family as We Do Our Own. In this role, you will oversee daily care operations, guide a dedicated team of care partners, and serve as a trusted resource for residents and their families navigating the journey of cognitive decline.
This is more than a management role, it is a calling. You will work within a Cognitive Center of Excellence, supported by evidence-based frameworks including the BCAT partnership and Teepa Snow's PAC/GEMS model.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the memory care neighborhood, ensuring resident safety, dignity, and well-being

Lead, mentor, and develop care partner staff through ongoing coaching, training, and performance support

Conduct and coordinate person-centered care plan meetings in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team

Monitor and respond to changes in resident condition, collaborating with nursing and clinical staff

Ensure regulatory compliance with state-specific memory care requirements (RCFE, ALFA, or applicable licensure)

Partner with Life Enrichment to integrate meaningful programming aligned with residents' cognitive profiles

Support family communication and education around dementia progression and care approaches
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, or a related field
2+ years of leadership experience in memory care, assisted living, or a related senior care setting

Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care best practices and person-centered approaches

Strong leadership and team communication skills
