Position Overview
The Shift Leader runs the store during assigned shifts and serves as manager-on-duty when management is not present. This role supports daily operations, leads by example, takes ownership, and helps create a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the store; handle cash, deposits, and register balancing
- Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked store
- Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and resolve issues as needed
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and vendor check-ins
- Communicate shift updates and concerns to management
Schedule & Availability
- Part-time: approximately 20+ hours per week
- Days and weekends required
Qualifications
- Retail or food service experience preferred
- Reliable, organized, comfortable taking initiative, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic POS/computer skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 lbs
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older to comply with tobacco sales regulations.
- High school diploma or GED required

Pay: $15.65 - $16.65 per hour
