Homeschool Math Teacher (Middle School / High School) – Las Vegas, NV
We are seeking an experienced, engaging, and dependable Math Teacher/Tutor for a homeschool program in Las Vegas. This role is ideal for someone who can make math practical, relatable, and useful for real-world success — with a strong emphasis on business math, accounting concepts, financial literacy, and applied mathematics rather than purely academic/theoretical instruction.

Responsibilities
- Teach middle school and high school level math in a homeschool setting
- Focus on practical math applications including:
- Business math
- Financial literacy
- Introductory accounting concepts
- Budgeting and real-world problem solving
- Consumer math
- Pre-algebra, algebra, and applicable advanced math as needed
- Create engaging lesson plans tailored to the student’s learning style
- Help build confidence, organization, and independent learning habits
- Track progress and communicate updates regularly
Qualifications
- Prior teaching, tutoring, homeschool, or educational experience preferred
- Strong understanding of practical/business-oriented mathematics
- Accounting, finance, business, or entrepreneurial background is a plus
- Patient, professional, organized, and reliable
- Must be local to Las Vegas and able to teach in person
- Experience working with middle school and/or high school students preferred
