Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will lead behavioral intervention programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans to support children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Duties
- Conduct detailed diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments to determine client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to promote consistency across settings and optimize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient care, and compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and privacy.
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in behavioral health and special education.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies.
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track behavioral progress effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and medical records management.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and conduct diagnostic evaluations with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and stakeholders in a compassionate manner.
