We are a growing startup staffing agency providing radiologic technologist support to outpatient surgery centers and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Southern California. We are currently serving Monterey Park and Victorville.
We are seeking a highly skilled Rad Tech looking for flexibility, independence, and the ability to manage their own schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in a procedural room, understand sterility, utilize a variety of radiographic equipment, be able to competently perform radiographic procedures on adults, and complete all studies in a timely and efficient manner. Rad Techs are responsible for ensuring a smooth operation in a fast-paced environment. Shifts will be posted through Connecteam as a first come, first serve basis. You will clock in and out directly through the app.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role. The radiologic technologist will work with a high degree of professional independence and manage their own availability. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits. Contractors are subject to credentialing review and background screening as a condition of engagement.
Job Duties
· Assist in performing sterile technique procedures across various specialties, mainly vascular (angiograms, fistulagrams, embolizations)
· Assist Physician as needed
· Know how to use IVUS
· Maintain patient dignity and confidentiality
· Preparation of needed supplies and equipment set up
· Assist the RN and Scrub Tech in positioning patient correctly and ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure
Minimum Requirements
· Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
· ARRT certification required
· CRT license required
· Fluoroscopic permit required
· BLS certification required
· Ability to adapt to different C-arms
· Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Prior experience working in an outpatient setting
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
