Join a global manufacturer of mission-critical sealing solutions supporting the wind energy and industrial markets. We are looking for a hands-on Secondary Operations Technician to perform the final finishing and inspection of large wind-turbine seals before they reach the customer.
This is a precision-focused role where quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship matter.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Measuring: Accurately measure seal dimensions using calipers and/or pi tape in order perform applicable finishing process.
- Visual Inspection: Conduct meticulous inspections of seals to detect any defects, irregularities, or deviations from standards.
- Trimming: Precise trimming of excess material from seals using appropriate tools and equipment to achieve desired dimensions.
- Splitting: Skillfully split seals according to specified requirements, ensuring uniformity and precision in the process.
- Drilling: Capable of skillfully drilling holes for pinning seals using hand fixtures and power machinery.
- Marking: Operate laser marking machinery to mark seals with necessary identifiers or specifications as per guidelines.
- Cleaning: Thoroughly clean seals to remove any debris, contaminants, or residues that may affect quality or performance.
- Packaging: Properly package finished seals according to prescribed methods, ensuring protection during storage, transport, and handling.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
· Demonstrated proficiency in using calipers and pi tape for accurate measurements.
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
· Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling tools and equipment.
· Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Willingness to always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
· High school diploma or equivalent qualification required, additional technical training or certification a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sit [10%], Stand [90%], Lift [Up to 50+ lbs], Walk, Bend, Stoop, Reach, Push & Pull, and Finger/Hand dexterity.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Manufacturing, Metal Cast or similar industry: 2 years (Preferred)
- Precision measuring instruments: 2 years (Required)
- Blueprint reading and technical drawings : 2 years (Preferred)
- Quality inspection: 2 years (Preferred)
