Social House Wellness Company is seeking a master's-level counseling student to join our clinical team for a practicum or internship placement beginning Fall 2026.
This opportunity is designed for a graduate student who wants hands-on clinical experience while learning what it is actually like to work in a group private practice. - Gradually build a caseload of approximately 5–10 clients per week
- Gain experience working with populations relevant to Social House, including children, teens, adults, couples, and families as appropriate to training and competency
- Complete clinical documentation and treatment planning in a timely manner
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision
- Develop skills in case conceptualization, treatment planning, ethics, and clinical decision-making
- Participate in appropriate marketing and community outreach to learn how private-practice clinicians develop referral relationships and build a caseload
What Social House Provides
- Weekly clinical supervision with an LPC-S at no cost
- Furnished professional office space
- Administrative support for scheduling and practice operations
- Flexible scheduling
- Opportunities to provide both in-person and telehealth counseling
- Hands-on experience within an established group private practice
- Professional networking and community outreach opportunities
- Mentorship related to building a caseload and transitioning from graduate school into private practice
- Potential consideration for an LPC-Associate position with Social House after graduation, based on performance, fit, practice needs, and licensure eligibility
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in a master's-level counseling or closely related mental health program
- Be approved or eligible for approval by their university to begin practicum/internship
- Be able to provide services in person at our Katy office

- Be motivated to develop clinical skills and build a counseling caseload
- Be willing to complete documentation and participate in appropriate marketing and community outreach
- Be receptive to supervision and feedback

Preference will be given to graduate students pursuing the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) pathway.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week, depending on caseload and university requirements
