Duties
- Disassemble vehicles with precision, including auto body panels, auto glass, and internal components using hand tools and power tools.
- Use computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software to assess repair needs accurately
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as auto painting, detailing, and auto restoration projects
- Follow safety regulations diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to all safety protocols during disassembly and repair procedures
- Support auto glass replacement and auto painting efforts while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail
Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication equipment
- Proven ability to perform vehicle disassembly, and reassembly.
- Experience with automotive repair diagnostics, defect resolution root cause analysis, and computer-aided estimating systems
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to collision repair shops and the proper use of PPE in all work activities
- Background in heavy lifting tasks is advantageous
