American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1+ years of IR experience for a role requiring ARRT certification and BLS.

Level 4 Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 281 staffed beds
-
Interventional Radiology unit
-
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with variable days off
-
On-call requirement of 5-6 days per month, including 1 weekend per month
-
Float within hospital as needed
-
Uses EPIC charting system
-
Fluoroscopy equipment includes Philips and Siemens
-
Works in Hybrid OR and Interventional Radiology settings
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of IR experience
-
ARRT and BLS certifications required
-
ARRT Advanced Cert, ARRT CI, and ARRT VI preferred
-
WA license required if applicable
-
EPIC charting experience required
-
Teaching hospital experience preferred

Skilled in procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement/removal, biopsy, and vascular closure systems
-
Experience with 3D imaging, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and PACS
-
Proficient in sterile technique, equipment setup, and room circulator duties
-
Experience with EVAR, TEVAR, TIPS, and dialysis graft interventions preferred
-
Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including vascular, genitourinary, neurological, and abdominal/pelvic studies
-
Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, scrubbing to maintain a sterile field, and accurate patient monitoring
-
Scrubs provided for OR personnel in any color
-
COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions
-
Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction
-
RTO should be kept to a minimum and cannot be requested during the first two weeks of the assignment

Prior UW staff must have a separation period of 18 months before returning as a traveler
