Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety of all patrons at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent guest services while overseeing pool activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure water quality and cleanliness.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, responding promptly to emergencies.
- Conduct swim tests and assist patrons with swimming techniques as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Assist in guest services by answering questions and providing information about pool facilities.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on lifeguard techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Valid Lifeguard certification, CPR, and First Aid certification are required.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary.
- Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment or perform physical tasks related to pool maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills for effective guest interaction.
- A proactive approach to safety with keen observational skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
