Project
Dobco Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for the $62.4 million renovation and expansion of George G. White Middle School in Hillsdale, NJ. This high-profile project includes the modernization of a historic school, construction of six new classrooms, and major facility upgrades to support 21st-century learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations and subcontractor activities.
- Coordinate project schedules, sequencing, and site logistics.
- Oversee phased construction while maintaining a safe school environment.
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections, subcontractor meetings, and progress tracking.
- Resolve field issues proactively to maintain schedule and productivity.
- Coordinate inspections with project stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
- Experience with commercial, institutional, public works, or K-12 school construction.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, construction sequencing, and quality control.
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades and deliver projects on schedule.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
