Join us to lead comprehensive landscape maintenance for a portfolio of commercial properties across Texas and several company-owned sites. Your mission: elevated curb appeal, safe and spotless exterior spaces, efficient irrigation, and seamless execution through strong leadership and vendor coordination.
- Oversee day-to-day landscape operations across multiple locations, upholding company standards for appearance, safety, and performance.
- Conduct scheduled quality walks and safety audits; keep parking lots, walkways, and common areas pristine.
- Build and maintain service schedules for mowing, trimming, edging, fertilization, weed control, irrigation tasks, and seasonal plantings.
- Own irrigation monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair coordination.
- Deliver seasonal projects: flower rotations, tree trimming, mulch installation, and storm-response cleanup.
- Lead crews and contractors: assign workloads, track productivity, and provide coaching and training.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a strong safety culture; assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training.
- Enforce safety policies; ensure OSHA and environmental compliance; conduct safety meetings and equipment checks.
- Document incidents, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately and on time.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control; manage inventory for materials, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate specialized vendors and contractors; verify invoices against contract specifications.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional horticulture, landscaping, or facilities management training preferred.
- 3–5 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience.
- Supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of irrigation systems, plant care, turf maintenance, and landscape equipment.
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple properties and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile communication applications.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Safe operation of landscaping equipment and vehicles.
- Primarily field-based across multiple commercial properties; occasional evenings, weekends, or severe-weather response.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Experience managing landscaping vendors and contracts.
- Comfort with irrigation scheduling systems and landscape management software.
