Lock It Lending is growing rapidly and looking for an experienced, high-level Mortgage Recruiter to work on site at our Houston office and help us aggressively expand both our Call Center Division and our Independent Loan Officer (ILO) platform.
This is a leadership-level recruiting role for someone who understands the mortgage industry, can identify top talent quickly, conduct interviews, and make strong hiring decisions independently.
We are looking for someone who knows the difference between:
- High-volume sales talent for a call center environment
- True self-producing mortgage professionals with established referral relationships
About the Two DivisionsCall Center Division
This is a fast-paced inside sales environment where loan officers work company-provided leads and transfers. The team focuses on refinance, purchase, FHA, VA, Non-QM, DSCR, and HELOC opportunities using company systems, dialers, CRM tools, and marketing support.
This environment is highly competitive and production-driven. Loan officers are expected to:
- Handle high call volume
- Follow structured sales systems
- Thrive in a team environment
- Stay accountable to daily production goals
Ideal candidates for this division are:
- Strong phone sales professionals and must be on site in Houston
- Competitive and money-motivated individuals
- Experienced call center or mortgage salespeople
- People who perform well in fast-paced environments
Independent Loan Officer (ILO) Division
This division focuses on experienced self-producing loan officers who already generate their own business through Realtors, builders, investors, referrals, and personal networks. Opportunity to hire nation-wide Loan Officers.
These candidates are typically looking for:
- Better compensation
- Broker flexibility
- Faster closings
- Strong pricing
- Access to Non-QM and DSCR products
- Operational support without micromanagement
Ideal ILO recruits include:
- Producing loan officers
- Branch managers and teams
- Self-sourced mortgage professionals
- Loan officers leaving retail banks or correspondent lenders
Responsibilities
- Recruit Call Center loan officers for onsite Houston office.
- Recruit experienced Independent Loan Officers nationwide
- Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and networking
- Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates
- Make hiring recommendations and hiring decisions
- Help onboard and integrate new hires
- Build and maintain recruiting pipelines
- Track recruiting activity and hiring performance
- Help scale both divisions aggressively
Requirements
- Mortgage recruiting experience required
- Experience recruiting loan officers preferred
- Strong interviewing and evaluation skills
- Ability to identify sales talent and self-producing mortgage professionals
- Organized, proactive, and results-driven
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Must work on site in Houston

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
