Job Requirements and Qualification:
- Formal Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.
- Experience: Over one year up to and including three years.
- Knowledge: Intermediate requirements for reading, math, and writing.
- Technical Skills: Work requires a comprehensive practical knowledge of analytical judgment and decision-making abilities appropriate to the organization's work environment.
- At least 18 years of age.
The purpose of this position is to collect utility payments and outstanding debt for utility services and assisting customers in person and by telephone. Monitor accounts; handle utility services; set up repayment plans, maintain dates and cross-train and other additional duties. The Utility Collection Assistant position is in Pay Grade 615 in the City's Uniform Plan of Salary Ranges.
The minimum pay rate is $ 17.70
