Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a warm smile and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions quickly and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties responsibly
- Upsell popular flavors or specialty items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and ensuring food safety standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including scooping, packaging, and food handling
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Skills
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Scoop ice cream and prepare shakes, sundaes, floats, and specialty desserts
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash/card transactions
- Keep workstations, dining areas, and equipment clean and organized
- Restock toppings, supplies, and inventory as needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Week day and weekend availability preferred
- Previous customer service or food service experience is a plus but not required
