The Inventory Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining parts inventory across D-Line and Pops parts cribs. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and issuing parts, supporting production and maintenance operations, and ensuring timely stock replenishment to support daily operational needs.

Track, record, and maintain accurate inventory levels for parts and materials using company inventory management systems (MicroMain Global) in accordance with established procedures.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and materials, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and reporting discrepancies through proper channels.

Issue, distribute, and document parts requested by technicians and production personnel while maintaining proper usage records.

Perform routine cycle counts and assist with scheduled physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Organize and maintain the parts crib, ensuring all items are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.

Monitor stock levels and communicate low-inventory or out-of-stock conditions to supervisors to support uninterrupted operations.

Process inventory transactions including adjustments, transfers, returns, and part usage updates in alignment with company policies.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the parts crib in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Support inventory-related operational needs, including procurement or transportation of parts between facilities and local vendors when necessary.

Work collaboratively with maintenance, production, and warehouse teams to support operational uptime and efficiency.

High school diploma or GED required.

Prior experience in inventory control, warehousing, or parts crib operations preferred.

Experience with computerized inventory systems preferred; training available.

Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in written formats such as email, while working within a predominantly Spanish-speaking environment.

Valid North Carolina Driver’s License required.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehousing, maintenance inventory, or parts crib operations preferred.

Working knowledge of inventory control practices and mechanical parts handling.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Basic computer literacy, including email and inventory tracking systems.
