We are currently looking for an experienced, highly-skilled, flag-rate, Master Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with everything from oil changes to powertrain repair and replacement. This position requires a person who is both a problem solver and a team player. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance on company vehicles, maintaining customer vehicles, and diagnosing and fixing vehicles from auctions, customer trade-ins, and other sources. No customer interaction is required! 40+ hours possible. Choose your own jobs at flag-rate.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Be able to lift at least 60lbs.
- Be able to work consistently.
- Be able to problem solve.
- Be mechanically knowledgable.
- Have a steady hand.
- Be able to work on small parts with precision.
- Be able to pay attention to details.
- Properly diagnose vehicles of all types.
- Bring the correct tools to the job.
- Order the correct tools if tool is not present.
- Complete jobs timely and .
- Estimate job completion times roughly.
- Order the correct parts while working with a Service Advisor.
- Explain any jobs to their partnered Service Advisor.
- Be accountable.
- Be punctual.
- Work independently.
- Diagnose customer concerns independently.
- Follow maintenance routines with vehicles.
- Must have valid Driver's License, or able to acquire.
- Use company tools and lifts with safety and responsibility.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $32.00 per hour
