What you’ll do
- Arrive on time, uniformed, and ready to work.
- Perform full interior/exterior details, stain extraction, pet-hair/odor removal, one-step corrections, and ceramic coatings.
- Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after service.
- Capture before/after photos and document work in the app.
- Identify upsell opportunities (engine bay, headlight restore, coatings, maintenance plans).
- Care for company-issued tools and maintain a clean work area/vehicle.
You’re a good fit if you
- Have 2+ years of professional mobile detailing experience (preferred).
- Can perform paint correction and ceramic coating installs confidently.
- Own a reliable SUV/van/truck with valid insurance + driver’s license. (Can be provided)
- Are comfortable driving up to 60 minutes to a job (we route smart).
- Use a smartphone well (photos, GPS, job notes).
- Are punctual, respectful, and obsessed with quality.
- Enjoy people. You can educate customers and close add-ons without the cringe.
Nice-to-haves
- Steamer/extractor experience, ozone, PPF/tint familiarity.
- Portfolio of before/after work.
- Experience mentoring junior techs.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed (you can block days in advance).
- A typical day is 5-8 hours, including setup and customer handoffs.
Compensation details
- $2.5k–$5k+ per month depending on output, quality, and upsells.
- Tips paid weekly.
- Bonuses for 5-star reviews, same-day add-ons, and monthly KPIs.
- Fuel stipend/travel pay available on qualifying routes. (Exact plan varies by W-2/1099; we’ll review during the interview.)
Minimum requirements (non-negotiable)
- 18+ with valid driver’s license & current auto insurance.
- Experience in pro detailing (mobile strongly preferred).
- Fluent with stain extraction, interior deep cleans, one-step polish, and ceramic application.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
What success looks like in 90 days
- On-time to every job with <1% reschedules you control.
- Average 5.0★+ customer rating.
- Photo sets uploaded for every job.
- Consistent upsell close rate on at least one add-on/day.
- Zero product/vehicle damage.
