We focus exclusively on pediatric therapy practices and are committed to delivering high-quality, accurate, and efficient administrative services.
We're looking for an experienced Credentialing Application Specialist to join our contractor network and help increase our credentialing submission capacity.
Position Overview
This is a production-based independent contractor position focused solely on preparing and submitting credentialing applications.
This is not a traditional credentialing coordinator role. The position does not involve client communication, payer follow-up, project management, or ongoing credentialing maintenance.
Instead, you'll be assigned credentialing applications from our internal team and be responsible for accurately submitting applications to commercial insurance companies and Medicaid agencies.
If you enjoy detailed, process-driven work and have experience navigating payer portals, this role is a great fit.
Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Completing commercial insurance credentialing applications
- Completing Medicaid enrollment applications
- Uploading all required supporting documentation
- Submitting applications through payer portals, email, fax, or other approved methods
- Recording submission details in Arohana's tracking systems
- Maintaining proof of submission, including confirmation numbers, receipts, or screenshots
This Position Does NOT Include
The following responsibilities remain with Arohana's internal credentialing team:
- Client communication
- Project management
- Application follow-up
- Status checks
- CAQH creation or maintenance
- CAQH attestations
- Appeals or reconsiderations
- Contract negotiations
- Credentialing strategy
- Provider consulting
Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Previous ABA credentialing or provider enrollment experience
- Experience submitting applications through commercial payer portals
- Experience with Medicaid enrollments preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow established processes and documentation requirements
- Reliable internet connection and computer
Compensation
This is a production-based contractor position.
Compensation is paid per verified application submission:
- Commercial Insurance Application: $25 per verified submission
- Medicaid Enrollment Application: $50 per verified submission
A submission becomes eligible for payment after Arohana verifies that:
- The correct application was submitted
- The correct payer was selected
- All required documentation was included
- Proof of submission was properly documented
- No corrections are required due to submission errors
Verification is based on submission quality and does not require payer approval.
Payments are issued twice monthly:
- 15th of each month
- Last day of each month
