A great UHY client is seeking a Business Unit Controller to join their finance team in Troy, MI. This role will play a key role in commercial finance, forecasting, and strategic decision support for the business unit.
The Business Unit Controller role is an onsite position in Troy, MI. This is a client direct hire position.
Business Unit Controller Responsibilities
- Support commercial finance activities including forecasting, financial modeling, and program financial analysis
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to evaluate program profitability and financial performance
- Lead financial forecasting and provide insights to support business decision-making
- Develop financial models to support new business opportunities and strategic initiatives
- Support costing and quoting activities for new and existing programs
- Provide financial analysis related to customer programs and commercial performance
- Analyze financial results and provide leadership with insights on trends and business drivers
- Partner with leadership to support financial planning and operational strategy
Business Unit Controller Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, program finance, or FP&A
- Manufacturing industry experience required (automotive strongly preferred)
- Strong forecasting and financial modeling experience
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Sales and Engineering
- Costing and quoting experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
