Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a supportive school district seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for school-based assignments in Colorado Springs, Colorado for the 2026-2027 school year. We have multiple openings supporting elementary and high school students across resource, transition, and significant support needs programs.

- High School Significant Support Needs (SSN) Teacher (18.75 hours/week)

Full-Time Positions
- Elementary School Resource Teacher
- Transition Program Teacher

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, therapists, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, social, and transition goals
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification
- ECE/SPED endorsement or licensure as required by assignment
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

- Contract Dates: August 2026 through May 2027

- Pay: $45 to $49 an hour
