Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components
- Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure quality results
- Install metal posts according to blueprints
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site
- Load and unload materials and maintain tools and equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be able to lift 150 pounds
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trades environment is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation or commercial driving is beneficial but not required
- Strong understanding of safety regulations within a construction setting and commitment to safety protocol adherence
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on diverse construction sites including renovation, restoration, or new build projects

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
