Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet their needs and answer questions.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts.
- Assist with product demos, merchandising displays, and stock replenishment to keep the store attractive and organized.
- Upsell products by understanding customer preferences and highlighting relevant features to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and organizing merchandise.
- Use effective phone etiquette to handle inquiries, schedule appointments, or direct calls appropriately.
- Support team members with supervising experience in guiding new staff or assisting during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with retail sales or cashiering is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader customer base effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and performing retail math calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to perform stocking, merchandising, and product demos efficiently.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions at all times.
