About this position
We are seeking passionate wellness professionals/ acute care provider/ to provide ONSITE triage/injury management and one-on-one health behavior change interventions for our construction client partner. You will promote a healthy culture and strive to engage employees in the company's well-being offerings. This candidate will serve as a wellness ambassador and role model.
Responsibilities and Duties
NOTE: You MUST be an EMT or paramedic with at least 1-2 years of experience and health education training. Constuction setting experience preferred.
· Provide triage and acute services to various trades at a construction site
- Provide one-to-one health coaching for employees
- Lead stretch and flex warm-up sessions for various workers onsite
· Work closely with safety committees, union representatives and foremen to provide wellness education to the population
· Create and deploy health promotion, education, activities and challenges
· Conduct in-person health risk assessments and biometric screens (training provided)
Requirements:
Exceptional interpersonal, organization, and communication skills required
Ability to work autonomously, and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Personal Trainer Certification or Exercise Science degree
- Experience with construction setting
- Trained to provide cholesterol and blood pressure screenings
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task
- Adept at counseling individuals from diverse backgrounds
Qualifications and Skills
Education Requirements:
Required: BS Degree in Community Health Education or related field
Required: EMT or Paramedic.
This is an ONSITE role in a construction setting.
