Painter
LACOSTA Facility Services is seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. This role involves painting, facility cleaning, and machine cleaning within a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and a strong understanding of safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).

Schedule: Monday - Friday

1st Shift, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Pay: Paid weekly (every Friday)

$18-22/hr Depending on experience
Painting Duties
-
Apply paint to various surfaces:
-
Walls, floors, doors
-
Safety poles and rails
-
Prepare surfaces before painting:
-
Scraping, sanding, priming, sealing
-
Fill cracks and holes using:
-
Caulk, putty, or other fillers
-
Protect surrounding areas with:
-
Drop cloths or plastic coverings
Cleaning & Facility Maintenance
-
Perform general facility cleaning tasks
-
Conduct machine cleaning as assigned
-
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times
Equipment & Safety
-
Operate ladders and high lifts when required
-
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
-
Utilize Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures when working on or around machines
-
Properly use paints, chemicals, and solvents
-
Wear required PPE:
-
Hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety vest, etc.
Team & Work Expectations

Follow directions from the Department Supervisor

Work collaboratively with Specialty and Operations teams

Be flexible with changing tasks and job assignments

Adhere to all plant rules and company policies
Requirements

Prior painting and surface preparation experience
-
Experience with drywall and sheetrock repair
-
Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures

Strong communication and teamwork skills
