Role Overview:
As an Assembler, you’ll play a crucial role in the hands-on assembly of our robotic systems, ensuring quality craftsmanship and efficiency in our production process. You’ll work with mechanical and electrical components, and collaborate with engineers to bring our innovative robots to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble robotic components and systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Follow work instructions to ensure precise assembly.
- Inspect and test finished products to verify functionality and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and improve assembly processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality regulations.
- Assist with inventory tracking and reporting on component usage.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications:
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40+ per week with occasional overtimes

Practical Skills Test – Candidate Requirements
As part of the interview process for the Assembler position at BotCrew, candidates will participate in a hands-on practical test. This assessment allows us to evaluate mechanical aptitude, ability to follow instructions, tool handling skills, and overall safety awareness.

- Steel- or composit-toe boots (required for safety — no exceptions)
- Clothing that can get dirty (you will be working with tools, parts, and machinery)

What to Expect
During the test, you will:
- Follow assembly instructions
- Use common hand tools and/or power tools
- Assemble small mechanical components
- Demonstrate safe handling procedures
- Work independently while being observed
The test typically takes 20–30 minutes depending on the task.

If you arrive without steel- or composit-toe footwear, we will not be able to administer the test and will need to reschedule.
