Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros to process retail sales transactions, cash handling, and food service customer order management.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food preparation tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage food safety procedures, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen operations as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Customer service experience with a focus on creating positive guest interactions.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Experience working in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus but not required.
