Company Description Nurse Practitioner OnCall is a dynamic after-hours triage company that provides comprehensive telephonic care through experienced Nurse Practitioners trained across multiple scopes of practice. The organization serves doctors’ offices, hospitals, clinics, and health centers by managing acute and chronic symptoms after hours, using evidence-based models to deliver safe and effective care. Nurse Practitioners are empowered to assess, diagnose, prescribe appropriate medications, advise follow-up, and refer individuals to appropriate facilities when emergent care is needed.
Role Description Per Diem, remote Nurse Practitioner (Geri/Adult – Massachusetts licensed ONLY) After Hours OnCall role focuses on telephonic triage and management of adult and geriatric patients outside of regular office hours. In this position, the Nurse Practitioner evaluates symptoms, provides evidence-based clinical assessments, formulates working diagnoses, and recommends appropriate treatment plans, including prescribing medications when indicated and arranging follow-up. The role includes determining the urgency of care needs, referrals to emergency or urgent care facilities, and documenting all encounters accurately in the designated system. Team members collaborate when needed and maintain high standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and professional communication with both patients and client practices, while working flexible hours during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
- Licensure and expertise as a Nurse Practitioner with strong clinical decision-making skills.
- Clinical background in Nursing and Medicine, with demonstrated experience in adult and geriatric care.
- Long Term Care experience preferred
- Active, unrestricted Massachusetts NP license; MCSR, Fed DEA and national board certification required.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with reliable internet and secure workspace.
- Strong communication skills for clear, empathetic telephonic interactions and accurate documentation.
- Must speak clear English

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month
