Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals.
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions.
- Provide exceptional patient service by listening attentively, explaining procedures clearly, and maintaining a professional yet friendly demeanor.
- Manage occupational health protocols by adhering to sanitation standards, maintaining clean treatment areas, and following safety guidelines.
- Educate clients on self-care practices, stretching routines, and lifestyle adjustments to support ongoing wellness.
- Document treatment details accurately in client records and communicate progress or concerns with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in patient service and assessment.
- Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
- Prior work experience in a med spa or wellness environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their unique needs.
