Area Personal Training / Sales Manager – Job Summary
The Area Personal Training / Sales Manager is responsible for driving personal training revenue, and membership growth across multiple club locations. This leadership role focuses on recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing personal trainers while delivering an exceptional member experience.
Key responsibilities include overseeing membership sales, personal training sales, coaching staff to achieve revenue and performance goals, implementing sales strategies, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring consistent execution of company member intake experience standards across multiple locations. The Area PT / Sales Manager works closely with General Managers and front desk staff to increase member engagement, improve client retention, and maximize profitability.
This position requires a hands-on leader who excels in sales, team development, accountability, and relationship building. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in fitness sales management, personal training operations, and leading multiple teams to exceed performance expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive personal training and membership sales across multiple locations.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop personal trainers.
- Establish and monitor KPIs including training revenue, conversion rates, lead generation.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to consistently exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.
- Ensure exceptional member service and a world-class fitness experience.
- Analyze sales reports and business metrics to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with club management to execute promotions, challenges, and community outreach initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of fitness industry leadership experience.
- Proven success managing personal training and membership sales.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to analyze business metrics and develop action plans.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- CPR/AED certification and nationally recognized personal training certification or college degree.
- Ability to travel between club locations as needed.

- Weekend availability
Supplemental Pay:
- 10% of all PT sales for first 1 million and 5% on all sales after 1 million
