STAFF NURSE

SCHEDULE: Part-time (22.5 hours/week); 3 days/week
LOCATION: Rotating between the Fairview Heights/Granite City offices, as well as the Mobile Medical Unit
SALARY: $36/hr
BENEFITS: Paid vacation, optional unpaid time off
RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Nurse Manager
Responsibilities:
I. Nursing Care
- Provide nursing care by assessing patient needs and making nursing judgments that reflect safe nursing practices
- Oversee nursing services, including pregnancy testing, STI screening, STI treatment, and limited first-trimester ultrasounds
- Ensure accurate implementation of physician’s orders and maintain accurate records
- Provide education for patients to develop an understanding of their health condition
- Oversee patient follow-up per standardized procedures
- Take rotating shifts of on-call APR patients
II. Medical Service Operations
- Ensure that medical equipment is properly operated and maintained
- Data entry of patient statistics
- Comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements
- Annual renewal of CPR certification
- Assist in daily Mosaic Health duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned
