Schedule: 4 days/week | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $28–$32/hour

Carolina Smiles is looking for an enthusiastic, patient-focused Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team! We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great dentistry, and can keep up in a busy, fun office.
EFDA Certification and N₂O certification are required. We’re open to all experience levels, but 1+ year of dental assisting experience is preferred.
What You'll Do
- Welcome, prepare, and care for patients throughout their visit
- Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry and expanded functions
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs as permitted by certification
- Perform expanded-function duties within your scope of practice
- Monitor and assist with N₂O sedation
- Sterilize instruments and maintain excellent infection-control standards
- Provide post-op instructions and help patients feel confident about their care
- Keep operatories clean, organized, stocked, and ready to go
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Support the team with lab work and other clinical tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- N₂O certification — required
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification — required
- 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred, but all experience levels are welcome to apply
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, sterilization, and infection control
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-first attitude
- Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
