Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Travel CVICU Registered Nurse to provide expert critical care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) located in Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cardiac and vascular patient management, demonstrating proficiency in advanced nursing procedures and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Travel CVICU RN, you will be an integral part of a dynamic healthcare team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, comfort, and clinical excellence for our complex cardiovascular patients. - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, including those post-cardiac surgery, with a focus on maintaining stability and promoting recovery.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and laboratory results using advanced EMR systems such as Epic and Cerner to inform clinical decisions.
- Administer medications and interventions including IV infusions, sedation, and pain management tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform specialized procedures such as catheterizations, suturing, ventilator management, and aseptic techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, surgeons, respiratory therapists, and case managers to coordinate complex treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and physiological evaluations, to identify changes in condition promptly.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, post-discharge care, and lifestyle modifications.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent relevant nursing experience
- 2 years' of experience as a RN
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or higher degree) from an accredited program
- Must have Level 1 experience.
- Experience in Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU is preferred

Pay: $2,529.76 - $2,662.60 per week
