About Us:
The Nile Health Network is a state-contracted behavioral health agency proudly serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities across Arizona. We are currently expanding our HCBS Workforce Initiative, focused on building a dynamic pool of on-call Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to meet member needs with flexibility and speed.
Position Summary:
We are hiring On-Call/Pool DCWs to support our Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) team. As part of our provider pool, you'll be matched with service cases as they become available based on your availability and preferred work areas.
This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work schedules, career entry into behavioral health services, or a steppingstone to permanent direct care roles and team lead positions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home support such as habilitation, attendant care, or respite
- Follow member-specific service plans
- Maintain professional documentation and timely reporting
- Respond to case assignments as needed based on availability and location
- Participate in required training and refreshers

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
- Active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Completion of The Nile’s New Hire Paperwork (NHPW) and HCBS Provider Profile Form
- Completion of all initial training curriculum (in-person, virtual, and online)
- Willingness to accept a case or provide service at least once every 60 days to remain eligible
Preferred Qualities:
- Passion for helping individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility with travel across the Valley
